Ok, I had to wait for today to get my new 7dii out to the soccer field after 2 weeks. Along with this to replace my original 7D, I also used my new Canon 1.4x iii to replace my Canon 1.4x version ii. Luckily with my fast mfa on my 70-200 f2.8 mk ii gave great results despite being at the back end of the dof. (too low an mfa value used.) I also noticed that the version iii TC is much faster focusing on this lens than ver II and I noticed the lower CA as well. Very happy. I know others have raved about the focus speed and sharpness. I could not find any oof that were not my fault where I slipped off the player. I used Focus priority for first/second, - 1 tracking sensitivity, +1 accel/Decelfor with single AF point and 10 fps. My only criticism and worry is battery life. I have two original 7d Canon Batteries in a grip. I took 250 shots at the game with decent amount of chipping and it used 20% in each battery. This would net about 600 shots for a full charge with single battery. I will investigate this further. No GPS on, and they don't lose any charge while in sleep mode the last few days. Here are 10 shots. Nice overcast day couldn't be better. C&C welcome. -Guy 1. ![]() 2. ![]() 3. ![]() 4. ![]() 5. http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A 6. http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A 7. http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A 8. http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A 9. http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A 10. http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A http://schlacter.smugmug.com/Star/n-QRCB5/i-pmBh98w/A
