I haven't had much to post lately.

I went out to my sister's house this afternoon to take some shots of my niece's son and daughter's combined birthday party. While I was there I took a shot of her rooster named "Nugget" Not a great shot but this is the biggest damned rooster I have ever seen.

A couple I finally got around to process from our vacation in April. A couple green heron couples were using the fountain and pond in front of our condo rental for a rookery.... an unexpected pleasure.

Odd. The photographs look better in Lightroom and on Flickr. They look a bit over sharpened here.

If you shared a larger size to the forum it would help make it more like it looks in Lightroom and on Flickr.

The forum allows you to share photos with a long side of 1280 px. You have to upload the photo at 1280 to Flickr to have the option of sharing it at that exact size. If you wish to put a larger photo on Flickr than 1280, the best option to share a larger photo on here is to share the "Large" (long side 1024 px) photo on this forum. I also believe the Fetch function on here will automatically choose the correct size.

Thank you for the advice.... I think they look much better now.

A note: I should have added the new larger photos rather than editing my previous post since I am now unable to add the meta data. Live and learn. In fairness to POTN, the software warned me but I wasn't bright enough to understand the warning. ;)
