Especially for the lens cleaning. Are you a CPS member? The 30% savings saved me several hundred dollars over the year I had it. I literally split a TS-E lens in half and it only cost me $350 for a boatload of new parts plus labor.

(2 edits in all) | Ya thats a good question Justin, the camera I bought Oct 31 2014 and the lens last Feb 2015. Question... how many stuck pixels are normal on a sensor, I mean like red or green ?? when I load some of the images from last week LR shows them to me for half a second then they are gone. Question... how many stuck pixels are normal on a sensor, I mean like red or green ?? when I load some of the images from last week LR shows them to me for half a second then they are gone. I see several dozen (at least) anytime I shoot long exposures or super high ISOs, but never really see them after normal shooting. Then again, I don't keep an eye out for them unless I'm specifically shooting one of those two types of pics. To answer your question though, I've never really noticed much difference in quantity between newer sensors vs older. My old 1DsIII had approximately the same visible stuck pixels as a brand new 6D when I started breaking 30 second exposures or so. Of course that's not based on any science – just the same little preview you're seeing in Lightroom that I see in Camera Raw before it gets rid of them automatically.

(2 edits in all) | Thanks Justin, I wasn't worried about it just wondered, Its not like the screen on your laptop or the led screen in your living room. I kinda glad there only 7 to 10 days turn around. My shooting buddy passes there shop on his way to work so I'm going to get him to drop it off, but the lens is a different matter, he implied I should wait until its super bad then send it in. until then I guess a little dirt goes a long way.
