Great set Aressem, tack sharp, didn't have those go-pros in my youth on the slopes. Must be great to watch your run. Great powder...

Thank you. It IS a lot of fun to see the footage afterwards.

Nice colors.
Why do they sodemount the gopro s? Most others top Mount. Are the spending lots of time ducking branches or something?

They just like the perspective better. Not too sure to be honest. When I bring my GoPro Hero 4 Black, I always have it mounted to a selfie pole (when snowboarding). The videos turn out great.

You sure got a lot of pure white sand on your beaches up there!! ;)

Doc

You're absolutely right. I prefer white beaches over hot sandy ones ANY day of the year. This is my truest form of "paradise". :D

And for those of you wanting to see footage from Sunday at Cypress, here's a quick video of the first lap my buddy Jason put together so that we could share it with the mountain's marketing team.

I think the background was PP in.

I suspect he used the motion blur tool on a layer then masked the car back in ... similar to this

For best maintenance of quality, it is better to resize your images for posting here instead of letting the forum software resize for you.

I do (have a preset export in LR POTN) and they still don't look as good as on my computer. I compared the same images on FM and they look better in FM.

I'm looking at upgrading to a 7D2 from my T1i. I've done some research and see that this is right up my alley for wildlife, action pics, etc. I wanted to check with you guys for any input you might have as well as does anyone know of a better deal than this right now? http://www.bhphotovideo.com …canon_eos_7d_mark_ii.html (external link)

Thanks!!!

The 7D2 is a great camera. The deal you cite has been mentioned before here at POTN and looks real good. Some versions of this deal include "13 Months Of Complimentary Damage Protection & Priority Service From Canon" that might be of interest to you. Not seeing that after a quick glance at your link, but maybe it is there.

the 13 month protection deal is a Canon offer. Buy before Jan9 from an authorized dealer, go to Canon's website and register your camera's serial #--only certain products are covered--the 7D II is. You are allowed one drop...
