Peter, where have you been getting the eagles? In years past I have an annual visit to the Skagit River during this time of year. But this year, I've gone twice and nothing of significance. You know its a bad sign when you don't even see gulls or ravens.

As I was leaving the second trip a local told me the salmon run was down in the Skagit, but higher on the Nooksack. That is a bit further north, and I will probably not be able to make that trip.

Anyone using grip with their 7D2? I am thinking since I am getting a rebate from the last deal I might as well use it for accessories and one I am thinking is the grip. 7D2 is already is kind if heavy (not really) but with the addition of a grip how do you guys like it in terms of weight and functionality.
