I gotta have a grip. Gripped my 5D3 and now the 7DII. It just feels right, and better to me. Especially with the 70-200 II attached. And the 24-70 II is very heavy, it helps with this lens too. I'm old, 60, and am getting shaky. I can't seem to shoot well without a grip any longer.

Very nice Lester, especially in less than ideal light!

Thanks kindly Dave. Very exciting to watch, the adult was completely unbothered by our proximity as long as we stayed out of the flight path in and out of the building.

Nice set Lester and thanks for the warning. :).

Anyone using grip with their 7D2? I am thinking since I am getting a rebate from the last deal I might as well use it for accessories and one I am thinking is the grip. 7D2 is already is kind if heavy (not really) but with the addition of a grip how do you guys like it in terms of weight and functionality.

Thanks

Thanks Peter! :)

On the grip I have always stayed away, I don't need the extra bulk and mass. I do always carry at least one spare battery however.

I can see the utility of a grip if working regularly in portrait mode, but that is occasional for me.
