No but I went and put myself in his way...lol Most animal's are very single minded...Im sure your seen it before, they get something in there head and it takes a bit for it to leave. In the mean time I've already got what I need.

ON a side note that little plugin form LR and focus points does not repost accurately the distance with this camera at 1.0.4 it seems to have meters and feet mixed up. I'm going to look into that

lol Nope, I don't feed the critters Guy!! I seek out the food sources of animals to find the Critters themselves. I'm the guy that if someone shows up to something along the side of the road and starts baiting, well lets say I put them back in there car. If they are baiting and I show up... well I just leave as everyone is there own bait control board. It may look like I bait but I do not. I guess that speaks to just how good you are at finding and shooting wild game. I do welcome to to come see for yourself,.....As long as you don't talk about camera's LMAO I do feed birds and home but I don't see that as baiting...... thats feeding. Notice the lack of chowing in all my images. You can tell a baited animal a mile away.

Just to be clear, I knew you don't bait, no slight intented; actually meant as a compliment for the great shots that often do take baiting by others.

So what do Pine Martins eat?

I don't know if this will help Guy, I should have gone today, the light is much better. Of course all my images are sized down before I upload. I don't know if that has anything to do with it

Unfortunately this crop (looks to be about 1400 pixels as posted by POTN) doesn't help demonstrate the fine detail actually being there. I think it would take a 100% crop of 500poxels with that lighter fur and hoping potn doesn't monkey with the size.

Realize that the plug in is extracting exif info. I am not so confident that the exif distance data is near accurate. (showing to the front of the dof and distance to the rear of the dof.)

Thanks Peter! :)

On the grip I have always stayed away, I don't need the extra bulk and mass. I do always carry at least one spare battery however.

I can see the utility of a grip if working regularly in portrait mode, but that is occasional for me.

Make a lot of sense on portrait wise, I think so too carrying extra battery is more favorable.
Thanks.

7D2 plus Canon 400 5.6L plus Kenko 1.4 TC. It happened by really fast as I turned around from shooting some spoonbills, I had one shot at it. Got lucky.
