A little 'Throwback-Thursday' to the 2014 Breeder's Cup at Santa Anita Racetrack... Photogs waiting for the winning horse to cruise-on-by for a little photo-op!!! On a side note, I just got the Canon 7D2 a few days prior (Wednesday) before the public got it (Friday)... Tested it out at the BC event and it worked flawlessly with whatever scenario I threw at it... Unfortunately, it's still a backup-backup body to my 1DX and 1D4... Nonetheless, I know it's willing and able to go whenever I need its services... Hehehehe... 7D2 + 300 2.8L 'non-IS'... ISO 500, f/2.8 @ 1/400sec...

2nd outing with the 7D2 was to the first day for the AVP Huntington Beach event. Going back tomorrow with more knowledge of the event and the camera. Still learning a bit but super fun so far. I love this new body.

I haven't been shooting much, my son has been in a walking boot so no soccer.
Went scouting for prom photos coming up in in a week.
Now we need to hope for sunshine. Will be taken around 3:30-4:30 in the afternoon.
I'll use HSS for fill flash whereas I was limited to on-camera flash for these 2 scouting photos (not sure I had enough power to overcome the hair highlights blowout).
