I just happened to fall into a cool moment of a murder of crows antagonizing a hawk... this is the best shot of the series.

It's been pretty warm here (96F/35.6C).... add lots of humidity to that and it's been "stay in the AC" mode for us. We're trying to motivate ourselves to get out this weekend and take some photos. So far, we think we can manage a trip to the local butterfly "rain forest" at the University here.

The buzzards are flat out hunting all of a sudden, I'm guessing the chicks have hatched as I can't see the nest any more now the leaves have all grown.

Definitely have some learning to do, but having some solid success right out of the box! I've been trying to catch this Kingfisher in flight for years with the 60D with poor results. First try with the 7D and Bigmos, handheld @ 439mm, heavy crop:
