Took this two weeks ago. Cropped quite a bit. Not sure what these little birds are arguing over but there was something interesting on the ground. Sometimes there were as many as 6 or 7 birds on that little pile of dirt. Just had to wait for them to do something. Sort of a fake BIF shot I guess. SOOC jpg as usual. The uncropped, original image is much sharper than this one. Could be the cropping or resizing causing the issue I guess.

They're House Martins and they're collecting/making mud to build and maintain their nests.

This bird flew over. I needed to slow my shutter speed down more to get some rotor blur. It happened quick and didn't think about that until it was gone.

Thanks. I like to think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm loving the 100-400 II lens.

Took this yesterday. I thought it was an average snapshot.

But my wife really likes it.

What do you guys think?

The subject is slightly out of focus. Not the place to be on a long weekend

Very nice Mark. We're these taken locally around Portsmouth?.... I'll be staying in Horndean for three weeks in July and will be looking out for good local birding spots. Any info would be appreciated... It has been nearly 30 years since I lived there before moving to Australia.

A coupla bodies and a few lenses
