Jul 15, 2016 12:28 | #12562 Does anyone know if there is a way to use HSS with a Canon 7D mkii and Rovelight 600 HSS? I have the flashpoint r1 transceiver and remote and that doesn't work. I see the HSS in the viewfinder and it doesn't work. Suggestions? It does work on my 6d when I go into the settings and enable HSS on the 6D. The 7d mkii does not have that setting. My name is Ben from Savannah, GA

I posted this question in the lighting area but I figured I would post it here for all see and maybe get an answer. The two that got were great ideas I suspect it is because the internal flash cannot support HSS, have you tried ensuring the internal flash is disabled? Gear List

This is from yesterday near sundown so it is ISO 6400 7Dii and 100-400ii and LR processing and noise reduction. I think this is a juvenile. There are about four or five that hit my feeders every day now. Ed
