Plus, when we are out in the backyard, Lacie, my Rhodesian Ridgeback, likes to stalk the squirrels and then chase them along the top of the fence which scares all the birds away. ![]() Doc Sounds like that would make some good action shots Doc, got to shoot what's available! Careful, looks like he may be coming to clean that new 24~70 with both guns loaded! ![]() Well, I did have a squirt gun war with him but the camera was put up way away from the action. I know the 7D II has some of the best weather sealing but I didn't see any sense in testing it out. 2 Canon 1Dx's | Canon R6 | EF 70-200 F2.8 L IS II | Canon 300mm F2.8 I | EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM | Canon Extender EF 2x III | Canon Extender EF 1.4x III | Editing of photos is okay.

I did see one this mid-morning, one, and for all of a split second..then the chipmunk showed up seriously trying my patience. I got some shots of one yesterday afternoon but haven't had time to process them, yet. A BlueJay landed and was trying to get to the small platform feeder but was blocked by two Whitewing Doves that were on the feeder. The doves are about the only bird that shows up that are bigger than the Jay. The Jay had to wait around to get his turn on the feeder and couldn't hit and run as usual. 2 Canon 1Dx's | Canon R6 | EF 70-200 F2.8 L IS II | Canon 300mm F2.8 I | EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM | Canon Extender EF 2x III | Canon Extender EF 1.4x III | Editing of photos is okay.
