I have the same problem with squirrels. Plus, when we are out in the backyard, Lacie, my Rhodesian Ridgeback, likes to stalk the squirrels and then chase them along the top of the fence which scares all the birds away. :(

Doc

Sounds like that would make some good action shots Doc, got to shoot what's available! ;)

Maybe the Edible Frog or Graf's Hybrid?
Either way, nice photo!

Great shots Peter. Now that all three have fledged, you should have several weeks of different photo ops.... :)

Thanks for sharing!

Nice shots Doc. Careful, looks like he may be coming to clean that new 24~70 with both guns loaded! :)

Well, I did have a squirt gun war with him but the camera was put up way away from the action. I know the 7D II has some of the best weather sealing but I didn't see any sense in testing it out. ;)

Haha!! Don't get me started on the squirrels. HATE them.

I think they have discovered the feeders and have been cleaning during the day when I am away at work.

Yeah, instead of taking close up photos of the squirrel and need to widen out a little and take some photos of the "chase". ;)

Your starlings are as ugly as the ones we have here. The birds, not the photos. ;) Just my opinion. I don't think they are very pretty birds.

Evil, pure evil I say to rub it in like that. I did see one this mid-morning, one, and for all of a split second..then the chipmunk showed up
seriously trying my patience.

I got some shots of one yesterday afternoon but haven't had time to process them, yet. A BlueJay landed and was trying to get to the small platform feeder but was blocked by two Whitewing Doves that were on the feeder. The doves are about the only bird that shows up that are bigger than the Jay. The Jay had to wait around to get his turn on the feeder and couldn't hit and run as usual.
