ok now can yu find a wolf jeffrey please - come on mate if i can get a tiger in the wild then yu can get a wolf

Hey I know you right, The darn things are all around me and I don't have any images of them. I mean they wake me at night, last year they killed and eat 4 of my deer. still I have no Wolf images.

I'm gona have to fix that I know. There just so elusive.. I need a plan

And whats the word on that 7DII of yours ??????

gday jeff yes i am sure a wild wolf shot is no easy task - bit of luck and the right place right time as so many shots of the shy predators are and i have spent much time and quite a lot of money on safari getting the ones i have got so far

and no word so far on the crippled 7dmk11 ( i would be the guy to get one of course) - so i am hoping no news is good news i.e.they have recognized it may have an issue and it is sitting in the repair line waiting for a specialist tech to play with it - if it doesnt do what i expect it to do when it reappears (although i know my 600 d is an exceptional camera as your original 7dmk11 was) - then it will be look out canon

see yu rob

I think I went back and forth four times, then I just asked for a new one. I believe I gave it to them the first time around the first week in October and I got the new one day after Christmas. Its an ok camera. I think the thing that made the first one special was the focus was always right where I intended. It always seemed to know what I was doing. The tech's here just didn't have enough or any experience with the 7DII. If they had fixed the broken wheel and sent it back to me I would still be shooting it today.

yep jeff i understand that feeling my 600 d just sort of gets it right almost every time even if i am slighly off and i have a couple of thousand good to very good in focus shots from it on trips and safari for wild life etc - be lucky to have a couple of hundred good or in focus shots from the 7d mk 11 so far

in fact it was that shot of yours that picked up the detail of the spiders web in the pine tree way back now that sort of convinced me into buying the 7dmk11 and the 100 - 400 mk 11 even though i had the very good 600d and 100 - 400 mk1 combo ( not your fault though ;-)a ) - still the 100 - 400 mk 11 is a just a bit better than my very good 100 - 400 mk1 though so maybe worth it and heres hoping that the 7d mk 11 comes back way better - but if not i will be into canon sydney all guns blazing this time

and yes your current 7dmk 11 does a sound to good job and id be happy with it mate - but no it aint quite your first one :p

see yu rob

2 shots of king parrots in my back yard with the unpredictable 7d mk 11 one in ok focus the other not so good both shot at 1/500 which is normally ok for me :-( maybe front focusing ? in the second shot - but on others it appears to miss focus altogether at times - and it aint all me :-)

Thank you. I was trying to wait on him to catch a fish but had to go get my haircut so had to leave. He looked for a long time but never found one, it was fun.
