I'd forgotten about the DOii, great captures in challenging conditions...we'll I'm guessing anytime one has to bring out the Beamer.

It's hard not to over-process some times due to the outdated sensors Canon keeps putting into their cameras.
It is also the main reason why I never bothered to upgrade to 5DIII.

Compliments the 7Dii you have for when you can't get close enough for FF.
My decision is to get rid or 7Dii or 1Div, if I don't one will sit and dust up.
Asked the better half if she had an interest but she thinks they are all heavy and likes
her Olympus stuff....I don't blame her, the Oly 300/4 she has is really nice and light.

Quick question has anyone found a soft lens case that fits the lens with the hood reversed? I have the largest Lowepro and the diameter just insn´t enough. On long walks I like using a normal backpack as its more comfortable than the photo backpacks I have and need something to protect the lens inside it.

Heres a Eurasian Jay in some thick woodland. One of the main reasons I wanted an F4 was shooting in the Forests around me and gaining a stop of light.

This can be used flat as padding and as a lens hood. The same company makes an indestructible lens cap.

Just received my copy of the lens from B&H via FEDEX to Australia. So far a worthwhile upgrade from the 100-400 f4.5-5.6 II - Black Kite near Avalon Airport VIC Australia. Worthwhile noting for anyone considering purchase and doing their due diligence (as I did) - images here lose some sharpness when posted to the Forum.
