I am with Frank and Evan.
I will get it but I will wait til the price settles out around $1500 or so.

Looks like a killer body.
I just hope its 1+ stops better in the noise department so I can shoot reliably at 1600 ISO and push to 3200 if I need to.

I crop heavily so clean files are more needed for me than people who dont crop.

Pre-ordered mine with Adorama for the 1 day shipping.

Wish Canon USA would do that combo package as I've love to have a branded jacket.

Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L

I'm waiting to see if AF is faster and more precise with my lenses, for BIF. 65 AF points is fine, but I won't use them very often.
Weatherproofing is also said to be better, another selling point for me, but if it's the only one, I certainly won't buy!
IQ is close to what we have with the 7d, with less noise/1 stop higher ISO, but no comparison with FF, of course, so IQ won't be a reason to buy..

Finally became available from my store fo choice today (well, yesterday, but they haven't sent out the "early bird" notifications yet so I just stumbled accross it by chance this morning). Ordered. Now to play the waiting game.
