Your Histogram is way out of shape . It was quite overcast with low clouds when these were taken. I pp'd in DPP to make the best if them. I'm still rather new to photography, and don't know where to even find my "histogram". I was very happy to even see an eagle in this part of the country, let alone get pictures. Even bad ones. R. Lee

What camera do you use ? Some you can check your Histogram on the camera and make adjustments that are needed but in PP you can watch your histogram while editing .

A friend showed me the histogram in DPP. I used a Canon 60D with a Tamron 150-600. R. Lee

Perhaps the Menu or Info button on your camera will allow you to see the Histogram . But there should be a way to show the histogram on your viewer display so you can see the histogram for a particular image you have taken . Look in your manual and look up Histogram display . Should be there somewhere .

I'll keep a closer eye on it. (Although I'm not saying I would delete the only halfway decent pics of a bald eagle I have ever taken) Red Dexs wrote in post #17168302 #5 is a very good capture, well done R. Lee. Thanks, Red. R.
