Took a trip to an abandoned drive in movie theatre. I wasn't too happy with the shots as a whole, but here are some previews:

Always excellent Floydian ... reminds me of one of my favourite films: Cinema Paradiso which has a similar feel of light and a similar subject matter of course ;-)a

Great story there. There was an outdoor cinema in the town in NY where I lived. No one used it for years, they turned it into an outdoor mall. It's hopping now!

These are great. Drive ins were everywhere when I was a teenager. Now there are only two left that are still operating within a 50 mile radius of my home. They continue to do a booming business!

Thanks so much for all your comments guys. It's great to see the place with so many artifacts and stuff still! There's a functioning one about 20 minutes from here which still does triple features.

I like your site of abandoned areas. Lived in Worcester in early 70's now in Spfld. area. Tempted to take a trip back. Forgot about the photo ops out there. Great area.

I've enjoyed all these shots, particularly the third one. I love the lighting and your B&W conversion is excellent.
