Donington Park may have retired the fabled tea urn in favour of a trendy coffee machine, however it still remains one of my favourite tracks to work at.

Odd ball problem I have is that I have have a collection shots that I know work and when some one says "get me images of X" it tends to be that I go for what I know works. Must get to Donington over winter and play around.

Legends - These things are seriously good fun. Very close clean racing.

#2 Nick Brace - Legend Ford Coupe

#57 Will Gibson - Legend Ford Coupe 1934

#65 Jean-Michel Poncelet - Legend Ford Coupe

I wasn't covering the minis that day, however it did occur to me that in line with the Legends the racing was close, exciting and incident free. The price of the ticket at the gate ... £15 or of course there is always F1 (not!)

#73 Spencer WANSTALL - Mini Se7en

Couple of weekends later and it is the last round of the 2014 British GT Championship. There are loads more on our my web site and a couple of threads elsewhere on the forum. Hopefully something a little different.

About 2 seconds later the entire pack fills the track heading for the hairpin

#4 Ahmad Al Harthy & Michael Caine - Team Aston Martin Vantage G

And as they exit the hairpin ...

Hope you like them. CC is always welcomed. Never to old to learn.

Cheers Dave

Really good set of images. I have a soft spot for Minis, and they've lined up for you perfectly in that shot. The first shot and the shot of the Aston are also both strong images.

David.

Those Mini perfectly aligned just blew my mind. Amazing.
