You have two possibilities, a dead charger or a dead battery either of which require a substitue to test. Do you have a voltmeter to test the charger? Do you know anyone that can charge your battery with their charger? The 7D battery and charger is the same as that for a 5DII and 60D.

Try a different electrical outlet to make sure your outlet is not dead.

Clean the battery and charger contacts with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol and see if that helps.

http://www.amazon.com …asabi+Power+Battery+lp-e6 (external link)Is it an after market battery and or charger?
Does the charger show a charging light?
Is it in the charger correctly and contacts clean?

Quality new one's are inexpensive.http://www.amazon.com …asabi+Power+Battery+lp-e6 (external link)

If the lights are blinking on the charger, but the battery isn't charging it could
possibly be a known problem with the charger. Give this a read thru and see
if it helps.

Try this. Leave the charger plugged in, remove the battery for 10 seconds or so, then pop the battery back in to the charger.
