The Elk rut is on for the Tomales Bay herd of tule elk in California, and the air is full of bugle calls from anxious bulls. These were all shot from my Honda Odyessy "blind"

It's great to see a rare subspecies like the Tule Elk show up here on POTN. Nice work! Those are some really good bulls, especially considering that they are Tules.

Thanks everyone! I was actually up that way again yesterday, and the weather was much nicer, so of course the herd was way far away from the roads! I did manage a shot of the biggest bull with the largest harem. These elk have the million dollar view!
