Thanks Crow...it's just a dandelion...rather closer than Joayne's shot! Thank you Levina. They are quite amazing up close...all those little strands on each branch of the seed. No wonder they can wind-travel! svizzerams wrote in post #17180288 These threads are such a treat! Lots of beautiful and clever rounds. I had not seen the "planet" effects before. So many possibilities - it really is inspiring to be part of this ![]() Love your flowers Svizzerams! Beautiful! Growing old disgracefully!

(3 edits in all) | Sep 27, 2014 17:09 | #66 My landscape planets weren't exactly perfect so today I went to the harbour and try to do better, but somehow the 360º pano didn't result in a good mini-planet. Don't know why. So I only used the shots of the water and liked the outcome. I'm sorry for posting more mini-planets, you must all be bored with them by now, but I really like doing them and I would like to have some better results. But these are the last, I promise.
EDIT: It's this one: Wild Birds of Europe

Sorry about that. Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #17180165 Making a mini planet is real easy. Here is a link where it is explained very well. It's the tutorial that I used too: http://content.photojojo.com/tutorials/create-your-own-panorama-planets/[/quote ! Thank you so much Levina de Ruijter wrote in post #17180527 I feel the same about the WWPW thread as you do. Everybody's work is inspiring and for me personally it is a great place to experiment and try out new things. I learned so much since I joined. It's great!

Unbalanced As one of the gluttons for punishment, I'm glad to see Chet's back More info | Sep 27, 2014 22:22 | #68 Well, I stumbled upon this massive winch at an old gold mine in the Colorado mountains. It was used to haul miners and ore up and down the mine shafts some 2000 feet underground over a hundred years ago. The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.

Grizz1 Goldmember More info | I've used this round object for decades to give directions to my East farm from the main highway. Located on the highest point in the immediate area and called the "big golf ball" by the locals it is a radar station. There never has been a runway here but it used to be a functional air force base. I was able to take a tour inside about 45 years ago and remember many round red and green lights on the screens that were tracking objects in the air. The grounds were well cared for back then but now the trees and grass grow tall along the tall fence. Everything is closed now except the radar inside the ball. Steve

City has a wonderful ambience. Gear List
