Had fun swimming around in the water and shocking the tourists (cameras in backpack in a tied up garbage bag LOL). Was fun times. Lower falls. Water level is nice and low at the moment as we haven't gotten rain in a while (though that is supposed to change today). At the falls though it's obviously still deep enough to be over your head, and by the log jam is nice swimming spot :). Also posted in the 6d thread, but I liked them so much I thought I'd throw them here. One with 24-105 and one with the 40mm STM (love that pancake). I really need the 16-35, ack!

Yes you do need the 16-35mm, still nice shots.

How's the color? I see some leaves on the ground already in those shots.

Great photos. I have not been there for many years. We used to take friends to the Gorge years ago. Lived in Portland 20 years. I think the foreground in the wider shot would be my choice. Great deep colors here. Was the water a bit cold to be dipping in there?

Very cool...two great perspectives. Did you use a CPL. Seems like the first one has glare one the rocks. They look great though; that is a gorgeous gorge waterfall. ;)

Nice shots, I like the second one better, great composition with the golden leaves.

Nice shots. Oneonta was one of the highlights of my trip to Oregon last year. How are the fall colors coming along there? I've heard they may be starting early this year.

Sony A7RII, 5DII, a bunch of lenses and lighting... Whatever gets the shot... ;-)a
