Tiffany and Thomas up Lamoille Canyon. Stopped in Elko on my way back to Seattle (14 hr drive) for this session. Pretty happy I did.

Photos 3 and 4 - what is that style called? Is that done with a tilt-shift lens or some other "magic?"

3 & 5 are my favs. 1&2 make me wonder what they are looking at. 7 is blah compared to 5.

1-sort of a centered composition, but not quite. Heads are also stacked on top of one another--usually something to avoid.
2-the attempt to bring the blues back has 'burned' the trees noticeably. I also think that if you're going to be so far back as to not see their expressions, faces really, you should be giving us more of an environmental view that's worthy of this.
3-the location and placement is fantastic, but I'm not personally digging the weird blurring and I can't even really see their faces
4-woh--they're microscopic in this photo. Is that even still them ? Cool view.
5-I might want a bit more light on them but this photo is superb. They better print this LARGE.
6-I love black and white photos but I'm not digging this one. She's so lost in the scene in terms of size and contrast.
7-I would lose this one. Claw hand + non-spectacular background + resemblance of break-up photo.

Overall: I totally grasp that you're shooting in a beautiful environment, but I feel like the subjects of the photos are mostly lost in these scenes--their faces are like the heads of pins in the expanse of these photos. I've just looked at 8 engagement session photos and I have no idea what the dude looks like.

Composition, lighting, processing, and location are awesome; unfortunately, the guy's attire almost ruins it for me. Looks like he rolled out of bed from a previous night's frat party. A little bit your fault, but mostly theirs. Unfortunate, as she's dressed perfectly.

I would of also found a way to get more solo shots of the girl to use as portfolio items. You have a couple here, and I hope you got more.
