I bought a MR-14 EXII Ring Lite for my 100mm and got the required 67c adapter so that it would fit properly. Very strange to me that the adapter doesn't come with a lens cover since the original lens cover now does not fit.
Does Canon really expect a photographer to take off the tiny little adapter ring every time he/she puts the lens away? The alternative is to leave the front end lens element bare in the camera bag or pelican case.
Can I buy a smaller lens cover that will fit the new ring size?
