Trying out my Meike grip I just got and put in my Canon LP-E6 along with an aftermarket Delkin one.

Turn it on and the camera says the left battery (delkin) is reporting irregular. I have the option to continue and cn then check battery info. It seems to read battery performance, though says 0 shots and 3-bar recharge performance (may be accurate, I don't know)

I dont recall getting this irregular notice before with the delkin. Anything to worry about or any effect it may have, or do I just have to always OK-past the screen?

My 1DX doesn't like my non OEM battery either, just tell it to shut up and shoot! In my case the battery monitor (on the top screen) shows a blank battery box with no indication of remaining charge - however it works fine.
Canon batteries for my camera are 140 GBP+ and imitation ones are 19GBP - I think you know which I will be buying next!

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).
