Infact first ever real attempt at a star trail.
2.5 hours or 32 x 5 min
Nothing overly special. No foreground. Just stars. I did this to really get a bead on exactly where to align my equatorial mount. I've been all around aligned but not as close as I would like. Now I can see exactly where to point my mount.

That's a very good start . Actually I would be willing to bet you could bring out some more data on that image . As far as the polar alignment , looks like your doing pretty good there . Some don't realize that Polaris is not true NP , it's just off to the side slightly but to correctly find it you have to beable to tell exactly where it's located according to where Polaris is located . Otherwords you have to really get into the tracking to keep it pinpointed and it's not easy :( .
