Playing around in DPP 4 with some 5D3 files but when I try to send to Photoshop CS5 it say it cannot open Photoshop. How do I set the correct path in CS5.

I have been using the 'transfer to photoshop' for a long time with DPP 3 but photoshop fails to open in DPP 4. After doing more web searches I see that lots of people are having this problem with DPP 4. The only work around for me is to convert and save and then open the file from photoshop - same thing but long winded. TOP BIRD SHOTS

Sep 27, 2014 12:32 | #8 I have now worked out a fix for this - more long winded but only a couple of keystrokes. It is done by using Batch Process (it works with a single image). You have to point to the Photoshop path in the applicable field when you do this for the first time but after you have done this once it retains the info. TOP BIRD SHOTS

tonylong ...winded More info | Sep 27, 2014 14:04 | #9 Just as an afternote, DPP is a free "add-on" to our Canon cameras, so when we see glitches, let them know. It seems like they've been pretty good about keeping things "up-dated", just be patient!!! Tony
