I was shooting here in Chicago at the Shedd Aquarium today. I did white balance, but it appears as though the images are very very blue. Would someone give me advice on fixing these pictures? Lots of good ones if I can salvage them.

Thanks!

Did you shoot in RAW ?

If so, you can use PS CS or even Canon's FileViewer to fix the WB temp. :)

Here's the thing. At about 3 meters, water filters out most wavelengths except blue, so a blueish cast in underwater shots would be expected, and acceptable. I'm not even sure that the color data would even be present for you to get an accurate representation. Most pictures that are taken underwater that have a full spectral range have some supplemental light close by, i.e. a flash. This isn't really practical at a public aquarium, however. The best you could do is use the tools that are offered in PS to shift the color, such as levels or hue/saturation adjustments. As Vance pointed out, WB may offer some ability to warm up the image, but as I stated earlier, the light reflected off the subject has a limited spectral makeup.

I have had good results with WB, as I did shoot in RAW. However, it is still very hard to shoot and not get blue images.

Now I just need a faster system to use PS on.
