Airshow shoots with Tamron 150 600

Having read various reports and reviews about the limitations of this lens for airshow shoots [Some were actually quite severe], I was quite a bit wary about shooting this year's Malta International Airshow with this lens.
Conditions turned out to be far less than ideal, with grey overcast and menace of rain, but all in all, the Tamron performed well and I got quite a high percentage of keepers. Those shots that went awry were more my errors than actual lens limitations.
