Now that is one hard object to get and you are coming along fine on it . However you are missing some red outline there . How many and how long were your exposures ?

Thanks Celestron
I had the scope aligned pretty well but didn't look azimuth and didn't realise.
This was only 40 x 10sec.
I went back to check alignment after and redid it to get 90sec on the Trifid.
