Captured these on 9-5-2014 at Monhegan Island, Maine. Took the Hardy Boat from New harbor. The Island is 10 miles off the mainland. This eagle was perched on a small
rock shoal off the west side of the island. Photos were taken from the boat as we circled the small shoal (change in lighting). There is heavy forest on the island and they may be nesting there. These are heavily cropped. (5D MK II, 100-400L)
