Affordable Softbox For Speedlites

I now have 3 speedlites (Canon 430EX, YN-560EX, YN-560 III) and I want 3 modifiers for them.

I also have 3 Alienbee strobes that I don't use much as I want to be portable.

Currently the only modifier I have is the Photek Softlighter II (60") which is basically an umbrella with a diffusion panel and I love it in that it just pops open , works with speedlites and my Alienbees, and gives really nice results. Oh and the price was excellent (less than $100 when I bought it for what is basically a 60" octabox).

The only thing is it doesn't take grids.

Is there anything else out there that's similar feature-wise (as listed above) and will accept grids?

Look at the Fotodiox Ez-Pro series. They are well made, easy to set up, they take a grid. You'll need a speed light bracket to match the speed ring you choose when you order. I would assume you'd order the Balcor speed ring to make compatable with your ABs.

Honestly, I think they're the only ones that do have an umbrella-style 60" octabox.

I've got both the 60" and the 48".

The price is about the same as the PCB Alienbee foldables, but I guess it will work with either a speedlite or a studio strobe, right?

Can someone post a pic of the fotodiox pro, speedlight mount?

I'm currently using a 26" Octa from Westcott with a dedicated bracket and cold shoe, so its as easy as can be to setup, but I need bigger for some of the things i do, and the 24" x 36" would be great, but I want to see the mount before I purchase.

The prices of many of these aren't much cheaper than the Bees foldables, could I get those and get some sort of mount so I could use my flashes with them too?

I'm going to get something like this to use with a speedlight in tight places. I like the stand being in the front of the box so that the weight of the box is directly put on the stand. It also allows for the the box to be more easily placed in a room with furniture such that the back of the box can be placed over a table, chair, whatever with the stand in front.

I have two adapter frames that will fit on a light stand hold the Speedlite and a pocket wizard then it accept the standard three prong bayonet speed rings then from there just about any modifier will work. I'm sorry I can't recall the correct name for the mount. The bracket is one of the original Strobies line. Before they went to the stuff that attaches to the Speedlight. Iirc impact uses this mount but I want to say it's called a Bogen mount but that's not it. I also have a Softbox that's an umbrella type similar to the appollo softbox es. I've seen othe brackets that are a l shape that have the speed ring mount for Hotshoe flashes but I prefer the square bracket although the it makes setting on flash settings very hard but with pw flex the Speedlite doesn't need touching except to turn. It on and off.

My plan is to mainly do a 3 light setup on grey or white seamless with 2 rims and one high front fill (mainly for compositing later, like Joel Grimes, I love his work, but sometimes I might want to go for a nice high key white shot), I wonder if even umbrellas would do the trick. I've seen some similar setups using octaboxes ungridded, but I wonder about light flare (hence the grids). Also gridding can give some nice effects for single lights.

I could use my current 60" Softlighter for the front (fill mostly) light.
