^ would also like to know what Sandisk refurbs are like...there's a difference between a pre-used SD card and potentially opened pack but not used

Tip: if you add your items to cart, check it out (after logging in) and then leave the page, they might send you a follow up email offering free shipping

Nice prices, but I am wary of the refurbished status. Any further insight? I would buy a few if as reliable as new. Yet the description is broad being: items returned for any number of reasons. Packaging issues or last year's models would be fine to me, but not prior formatting or memory errors.

Thanks for the information. I am fan of SD but for how much I would save vs. the downside of a bad card just does not make good sense to me.

doesnt seem like any crazy deal..2weeks ago i paid $11 at amazon for the Sandisk ultra 16gb 30mbs card..same price as the refurb sale one in the link. Probably find same or better prices on amazon everyday

My gear

R7, 7D, Canon RF 14-35 f4L, Canon RF 50 1.8 STM, Tamron 70-200 G2, Canon 100-400LII, Canon EF-RF

That may be true for the lower end memory cards, but after looking at camelcamelcamel these prices for the Pro range beat amazon's cheapest (for the last year) by far

Not sure about SD but the Extreme Pro are UDMA6, which means they are the older one. Still plenty fast and good price.

This x 10!

In addition to the problems an actual disaster would cause -I would always be worried that a problem was just about to happen.
I have enough trouble getting things to work right without adding more stress!

OP - thanks for the tip, but I'm sticking with new!

This is one thing I'd NEVER buy refurbished. Just seems like a bad idea.
