Reliable wireless shutter release for 6D?

My Vello Shutterboss started acting wonky and anytime I plugged it into my 5D3 it would start taking rapid fire shots, even if only the cable and not the remote was plugged in to the camera. I ordered a new cable for the remote and that fixed it. I also have a Nikon D810 and ordered a cable for that, and now the remote works with both cameras. Very handy to only need 1 remote for two different cameras.

Used it on my T3i and had no issues :(

That's odd, been using mine with a 6D and 60D with no problems.
