I don't think I can avoid this purchase much longer. I really enjoy macro shots and using tubes and having to get so close to my subjects just isn't going to yield the results I want.

I did find a large Wheel Bug today that I wasn't able to get amazing shots of, but these were clear enough for me to be freaked out by it.

You took some pretty good photos here, even just using the ext tubes. I am actually glad I got my tubes as I imagines all of the macro shots I was going to take and then I just never got around to it. So I am only out the price of the tubes at this point.
But I may try again once the season changes around here since I won't be as ready to go outside in the frigid Iowa temps.
I hope to see your images with the new lens soon.
