when the sigma 150-600 comes out...

...i would really love to see the comparison of the sigma 120-300 sport with extenders vs the 150-600 sport
and then to throw in comparisons of the 100-400 with and without
and the tamron 150-600

I am kind of excited about this lens....
esp with my son's soccer season starting up.... :)

There is a comparison of the Sigma + TC vs. the Tamron 150-600 at https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php​?t=1364945. Reading the thread you'll see that the weight of the Sigma can be a concern but the combo seems to be excellent in focus tracking and IQ. So in advance you might want to check the weights of the two Sigma lenses and see if that presents some concerns.

The 100-400 does not like extender!
you have a visible drop in IQ with the extender
it's years now i didn't put extender on the 100-400, instead i kept 7D for the reach with the 100-400 ;)
And ... Yes i'm also waiting for some tests and opinion about the Sigma 150-600 :lol:
