Now this was not a posed portrait that I think is amazing. I was early for work and had my camera so I played in the parking garage for a few minutes. I would still like some feedback on how to make it a more interesting photograph.

I will start myself with a little. The handle bar at the top has some motion blur from being on second floor of the garage and suvs rolling around. So use a faster shutter speed. The reflective panel on the back should be toned down a bit to make it more even with the scene. get the light off the camera, issue with bouncing the light is I got some shadows cast back down into some of the detail area.

Be brutal. so when I go back I can capture something special please.

My big one is that your using a wide format that is distorting the pylons in the background

the motion blur is a shadow from the mirror. i think.

front tire has no detail.

vertical lines are always vertical if the camera is level. At 47mm your 24-105 should not be showing much distortion, i think what you two are seeing is that the image just isn't straight.

This is a really nice photo. There are only a few things I would do in PP.

As Vmann said, correct lens distortion. To me, it seems to have a blue cast so I slightly changed the temperature to help the concrete/garage color. Diffuse the flash to eliminate that duplicate shadow. And more as personal preference, I used clarity (as a adjustment brush) to bring out the front tire tread, headlight, brake rotor, rear chain and the overall engine area. Cloned out the handlebar blur.

Here is a before and after (linked due to over 1280 pixel width).

Thank you that comparison really helped me see where detail could have been added.

If it were it would have to have been carried up there on a rollback. It would have never been able to make the hill to the second floor of the garage.
