Beauty of DSS is you can just keep growing the data in the image. Almost an hour on this shot now

Ok Peter I'm guessing that first image is the one with the hour so far ?? Reason is say so is cause of the abundance of stars in the first image . However both look great .

Top one is the redo processing also added another 20 minutes data compared to the 2nd image.
Also my processing is getting better to draw out more detail.
Likely a change in saturation between the two also.
Star density? It's a pretty dense part of the sky :) Certainly star filled and not black as people might assume the sky to be ;)

I know exactly what you mean . Take a look at this M8 image on APOD . Look how dense the stars are ;) .........
