Hickory Tussock Caterpillar in New Jersey

I raised the camera slightly above eye level to align it with the vivid background (Maple Trees). Seems to be a couple of out focus white branches behind the Caterpillar that bother me, but photo is presented as shot.

Tamron SP 90mm VC + Canon 60D.

Well it's a fabulous pic of the caterpillar and the background is still pretty clean.

I personally like totally natural shots where possible so most backgrounds don't bother me unless they are obviously very intrusive.

Thanks Alex and Brian, I think art viewers in general don't care much for caterpillar shots but I rarely pass one by without making some photos.
