Hi,
I'm so frustrated! I purchased Moab Slickrock Silver Metallic paper and downloaded their ICC profile. I installed it and selected it in LR under the Print Module, the Print Job panel. I also chose Relative Intent as suggested. In the printer driver, I selected Manual Color Adjustment with Matching = None.
Tried printing a BW photo with all kinds of tones. Every print turned out very yellow in lighter areas.
I then got smart and turned on Print Preview in the printer driver, and sure enough, the image is yellow as sent by LR.
I tried this in Photoshop too and same deal.
Then instead of choosing the Moab ICC profile, I selected a stock one that I've always used (Canon Pro Platinum) and it also showed yellow in the preview. (I usually choose Profile = Managed by Printer, and choose Pro Platinum in Canon's driver, and it always looked great.)
I should also note that in Photoshop, with Proof Colors activated and set to the Moab ICC profile, there is no yellow. Something seems to be happening between what Photoshop is sending and the Canon driver is rendering.
What the heck!?!?
I'm using Windows 8.1. Per Photoshop, the document profile is Adobe RGB 1998. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Help is very appreciated!--I'm trying to mail the prints out today.
Thanks!
