ive been using rokinon and vintage lenses to satisfy my street photography passion. For the most part just my 35 and my newly added Helios. But I've been second shooting for a few weddings and I felt I would have needed a fast zoom lens for that. But I absolutely hate it. My composition iq has dropped and I'm not as quick in my feet with it. Not to mention I keep forgetting the lend can be used manually.

I read a blog post about someone shooting a wedding with just a 34 (canon f/1.4) anyone share similarly success?

Ps on iPhone so excuse any possibly typos.

I used my 24L, 50L and 85 1.8 for a wedding. The 50 was mainly on my body the entire time. The only time I used the 24 was to get group dancing shots from above.

Some of my feedback

I could see that. The 50 is very versatile. For a single prime I would choose a 50.
