The Petit was huge this year...more people than I have ever seen at Road Atlanta...it was a lot of fun. I spent Friday and Saturday at the track...these are a few of my favorites. In no particular order. Thanks for looking.

#1:One of my favorite looks at RA, with just the right train and a good lead car.

#2:The Lamborghini race was fun to watch...those cars sounded awesome.

#3:Another in Turn 5, tighter this time.

#4:I worked on shots like this a lot...I like them and this is the only race with enough people to make them look good...

Thanks. There were so many people there, it was nuts. I have never seen the infield so full.

Really like #5... #4 would probably win for me if the top was cropped down.

Interesting observation on #4, I had not really considered a crop off the top...might have to look at it, it would have to change the aspect ratio...thanks for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it!

Thanks Ron, Sorry we didn't get to hang much or shoot..I spent most of the day Saturday watching...and had to leave early due to family stuff that came up...I left the track by 5...as I watched the race on TV later I wished I had stayed to shoot twilight racing...

Thanks. That place was a zoo, getting out of there on Friday was a real pain, and there were a lot more people there on Saturday...between family complaining that I had been gone for two days and the thought of trying to get the truck and trailer out in the crowd...I called it quits early...

you have a nice set there. I particularly like #8. The crowd was big but I am not sure it was the biggest I had seen @ RA, but it was probably a top five crowd anyway.

Thanks. I liked #8 too...one of those shots that usually eludes me...but I got down to the paddock early this year instead of sitting around drinking beer at 8 am....:D

If the crowds for past years were bigger...that is a lot of people, I have only been to Petit 3 times, and this was the most I have seen....
