Me, my wife & another couple visited Aurangabad, India (external link) over a long weekend here. We had planned to shoot few couple shots of them as they had just got married and needed a couple shoot. They enthusiastically carried their wedding dresses all the way from Bombay and wore them to the Bibi ka Maqbara (external link).
We got late in reaching Aurangabad and then got a bit more late in reaching the monument. There was no time to think much as the light was fading. My wife usually accompanies me to couple shoots to comfort the anxious couple [and to hold the reflector]. We rushed through the shoot and got some good shots. The entire shoot was completed in under 25 minutes which also included some slow walks due to the heavy dress and heels.

Gorgeous! Composition is excellent, and I love how it transitions from the boldest color of her dress to his more neutral color outfit to the temple's colors. Very easy flow of colors to look upon. The ornateness of the outfits is stunning as always.

I especially like number 1 and 3.
The second image I think the couple are way to dark, I tend to look more at the background as its much brighter.

But well done! LOVE her dress :D

Fantastic environment, lovely couple and gorgeous colours.
A great job on getting the best from all three.
One or two have architecture clipped at the edges and a sloping horizon, but these can be easily remedied.

Tons of enthusiasm, loads of kit, limited skill...

Thanks John. And it is a Mausoleum not a temple.

Thanks. Agree about the second image. There was not time left to get the reflector from the car. Half an hour early and we could have been more relaxed with better light in the photos. But me and my friend did not want to face the wrath of two hungry women. Hence, opted to eat first :lol:
You should definitely check out more Indian wedding photos for such dresses. They are pretty heavy though.

Thank you. I agree on the sloping horizon. Got a bit bored to correct it post posting it online.

PS: Can the mods please move this to Wedding section.
