Just watched the interview, excellent. Congratulations on that and the superb images of bald eagles you captured. Very impressive.

You are all very kind, thanks for the comments. Bret, pick a couple of contests with decent prizes and subject matter, and go for it, your stuff would be in the running every time. When i saw this one with some cash, and eagles as the subject, it seemed like a good fit for me! And Stuart, there were some nerves involved and I know it showed, some, but overall it went OK for me :). The fact that I had no video of them except on the time delay by watching my own TV made it a little bit difficult, but not too bad. And the TV host, Jeff Hutcheson, was a very easy guy to talk with.

Thanks Rog, the judges were actually very well pedigreed. I actually prefer that over those contests where they judge by how many votes someone gets after getting all their friends and relatives online ;).

Well now you've gone and done it haven't you Ian! You've let all of Canada know what we've all known for years....that you're a real winner!! :)
I was hoping to see the interview video before commenting so I could add a snide remark like "I thought you'd be taller", but to no avail. I must not be holding my tongue right or something. It is, however, quite the honor you've achieved and I couldn't be prouder of you and for you.

Haha, Steve, watch the video of the interview and you'll see that your "taller" comment doesn't apply. :) thank you my friend for the warm comments. The link to Canada AM's website was posted by Cheryl a few posts up.
