Watched this. Did anyone else catch that remark about auto white balance... canon dialed it in and its remarkably good.........wow cant wait

With a completely new metering system using RGB and IR, perhaps finally Canon has a good AWB function. :)

Yea, I hope I'm not building up too much expectation here with this camera lol.

Very easy to do. I think the thing to remember is it is APS-c and will not have FF IQ. Maybe getting near to 1 stop worse with a lot of luck.

i think at this time maybe buying the 7 d mk 11 for its better iq and or iso improvement in the range 100 - 2400 over say the 7d or 70 d will probably disappoint ( but lets hope that view changes on or after its release to the masses )

however maybe buying it for its 65 af points ; af at f8 ; mfa at both end of a tele lens ; gps locations record for wildlife and the 3 ev etc would be the better go - but at $2300 - $2400 aus that not a call i want to make just at this time = so when the price drop comes (if fewer buy it than canon marketing has programmed for)then that may be the go particularly if they have been able to improve the iq / iso aspect via a pp package upgrade or some other change :D
