Surely I'm not the only one who got up early to take pictures this morning?

Nice!

I was up for work & had planned on taking some shots, but unfortunately we were completely overcast up here. :(

My six year old is taking an astronomy class this semester, so at 5am I got up and woke him to watch it. Threw my camera in the car just cause, but also completely overcast. We had biscuits and coffee instead. Pretty good morning.

Bummer so many people had clouds, we had thunderstorms last night, but cleared up just in time. There will be another one in April, though!

Exposures were around 1-2 seconds, I think. At 8 seconds I was getting star trails / moon blur, but I was in Av and not paying super close attention to shutter speed.

Saw it for a few minutes before the clouds consumed it.

Cloudy in AZ as TS Simon (remnants) rolled through. We got over an inch of rain though, which is awesome for us. :)

Canon T2i Digital SLR; stock 17-55mm and Sigma 70-300mm telephoto.
I am just learning so any suggestions are welcome.
