They said it will take 2 weeks to process and provide me a refund. That's still a long time considering i ordered a week ago. Was hoping to have something to use for my videography. Thanks all for your input and suggestions I've bought from cameta several times. last time I checked their ebay feedback I think they had an approval rating in the hi-90s with like 50k transactions. stuff happens and when it does we get inconvenienced Their rating is 99.5% on over 620,000 transactions.

A couple of squiggly lines hardly identifies who signed for the package. I shipped a 100-400 to a guy w/ sig required, he claimed he never got it. When I brought up the electronic signature it had his name listed as signing for it and some chicken scratch for a signature that he said wasn't his. Well as it turned out, it was delivered to a house a few streets over and the guy just signed for and accepted the package. Took him 3 days to take it to the guy I shipped it to, it all worked out but could have gotten real interesting if he decided to keep it. A credit card chargeback is probably the only viable option. Unless they have a signature of the person receiving the item, what does proof of delivery do ? All it says is that FedEx dropped off the package somewhere. And until it's in buyer's hands, I'd think the seller owns the problem ? Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.

A PayPal dispute is not the right way to go, if you file a paypal dispute all cameta has to do is prove they gave the package to fedex with the correct address and when they do that they upheld there end they didn't do anything wrong, dispute closed. Contact cameta inform them the tracking number shows delivered and you haven't received your package and ask them what do your need to do (be nice about it give them a chance to fix the problem), they will file a claim with fedex, they can check that route with GPS to see if and when the delivery person was there. If you don't hear anything within 5 days inform cameta you are doing a chargeback. If they say fedex claims they delivered the package still file a chargeback. I work for ups. Which is a primary reason to never use your bank as the Paypal payment source. A credit card chargeback is the last resort in case you get screwed and the few times I had to file a complaint the c/c would side with me, I filed them in good faith and didn't try to get the money back if I didn't believe any reasonable person would see I was in the right. Even when I have requested signature required they still ring the doorbell and walk off. But they are responsible for getting the product to customer. FedEx was the seller's agent, not customer's. It should be seller's responsibility to make things right if their agent screws up. Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.

If the seller can prove that the package was shipped to the address that was provided with the payment, and if there is proof of delivery, the seller no longer 'owns' the problem, per PayPal policy.
