Don't see 7DM2 there, only 7D out-of-stock -- got a few 7D kits, and new 7DM2

It was a joke, the original link was sending to google images with laughing smiley ;)

Well, dang it -- would rather have laughed at the smiley than poked around on the Canon site thinking twelve guys already beat me to that refurb !!! :( :(

But, luckily, Monkey44 has one 7D2 on order - and is quietly hanging on his tree eating a banana, watching for the UPS guy ... :) :)

Me thinks someone is fibbing a little. I bet you are biting your tongue to keep from saying "Where is that danged UPS guy?" I know I am. Well that and the notification the camera has been sent.

Sorry about that, but i will never re-edit a post edited by an admin/moderator for whatever reason ;) and i'm sure that Pekka think that i have a "broken arm" using the copy and paste function

More seriously, i don't think we will ever see a manufacturer selling a "pre-production" product tested on the ground, i think (i may be wrong) that all those pre-production cameras will return to the Canon Lab to be unmounted piece per piece, studied piece per piece and the Canon engineers will collect data about the wear on each part or whatever, to see what they can improve for the next generation, or why not to improve the next update of the firmware, IMO

I would not be surprised if you are right, wrong or somewhere in between. I would like to think you are right about their breaking down the pre-production models.

B&H has also updated their information to "Expected availability: October 30 2014". Just in time for the HS football and volleyball post season.

oh good, does that mean we can start a 7D Mk3 thread now in the rumour section? ;)

It will be interesting to see what Adorama and B&H show after they recover from the Sukkot time off.

Any news?
