Well it rained all to hell here in Phoenix, so I missed the Blood Moon.
"It rains in Phoenix?!" Yeah. Tell me about it.
Anyway, I was up in Prescott the other night, and had a friend's 70-200 f/2.8L
handy, so I decided to try an Orion stack in DSS.
Canon 6D, 70-200 f/2.8L II
@200mm
.7" (7/10 of a second) shutter, f/2.8, 3200 ISO.
This is about 330 "light" frames (pictures of the nebula)
30-40 dark frames (same settings with lens cap on)
and 30-40 bias frames (lens cap on, fastest shutter of 1/4000).
I would LOVE to upload all these shots and let one of you fine folks try your hand
at editing this mess over my feeble astro PP skills, but it's a huge lot of files.
DSS - CS6 were the weapons of choice for the editing stages.
C&C appreciated!
