I was going through my junk drawer and came across an old compact flash card that I bought about 10 years ago.. I think I paid around $50.00 for it. It worked well in my 2 megapixel Canon S100 Digital Elph.

Will it work with the 5D III :) :)

2 or 3

Raw files on my 5D2 are about 25 - 30 meg on average, so even if it does work probably won't be worth the trouble.

I still have a 16 MB CF card that came with a Canon Rebel - and also a Canon brand 32 MB SD card. That 32 MB card is about the same size as the hard drive in my first computer, and was considered huge, I mean really big, in its day (and very expensive).

Nice to see everything getting smaller - minus cell phones.... ;)

I have a 512Mb CF card in my drawer that had old photos of my kids on it that I thought my ex wife had thrown out (because it was mine) I t was great to be able to get them off there in the end :) Didn't know you could get them so small.

So with continous shooting, you're done in a half second:) Assume writting to the card takes much longer:)

Wow.. 2 MB is about one half of a 7D JPEG :)

I missed that thread, (or I would have entered) :) I think the smallest card I ever owned was 16 MB.

My Olympus C-2020 came with an 8MB SmartMedia card. It held quite a few 2MP JPEGs. :D
